Obituary of Leroy Henry

Leroy Henry, 74, of Utica, passed November 28, 2011, after a short illness in The Pines at Utica Nursing Home. He was born January 31, 1937. The first of fifteen children born to the late Arthur and Malinda Henry. He was educated in West Palm Beach, FL public schools. He married Mary Carolyn Favor in Utica, in 1961. They were blessed with one child, Bobbie Jean . He was employed by Skenandoah Factory for many years and later worked at Price Chopper in North Utica. He was favored to sing with the Gospel Goldenairs of Utica. He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Jean Richardson, of Arcadia, FL, sisters, Betty Williams, Nettie Alford, of Detroit, MI,Easter Wiliams, May Helen, Margaret Loretta, Marilyn Henry, of VA, Leola and Sarah Henry, of Utica, brothers, Sam Henry, of VA, Steve and Jimmie Henry, of Utica. The family extends thanks and gratitude to the nurses and staff at The Pines at Utica for the great care given to Leroy. May God richly bless each of you.
