Arthur (AW) Liggins,73, of Utica, departed this life April 15, 2014, in Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare. Arthur was born April 28, 1940, in Oxford, MS. to the late Robert (Walker) and Rebecca Liggins. He married the late Mary (Jones) in 1960. He was employed with Special Metals Corp. for over 16 years. Arthur leaves to mourn his children; John Wright, of Rochester, NY, Charlette (Edward) Ford and Tyrone Liggins, of Utica, sisters; Adlean Harris, of Oakland, CA, Lillie Mae Savage, of Rome, NY, Rosie Pearl (Frank) Cole, Saginaw, MI, Dorothy (David) Mathis, of Utica, and Margaret (Paul) Bower, of Fremont, OH, brothers; James Liggins, of Fremont, OH, John (Clara) Liggins, of Utica,and sister-in-law, Clover Liggins, of Fremont, OH, 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren whom he loved, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a daughter, Victoria Liggins, grandson, Bernard Wright, and siblings TommyLiggins, Mary Williams and Willie Mae Jones. Friends may call on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 pm funeral service at T.Revels-Gibson Funeral Chapel.
