Obituary of Dorothy "Dot" March

Dorothy "Dot" March, 72, of Utica, went home to be with the Lord March 4, 2014, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center with her family by her side. Dot was born September 11, 1942, in Abbeville, AL. Daughter of the late Morris and Tinnie(Lynn) Lawrence. She attended Henry County Training School. On August 6, 1960, she married Jerry March and moved to Utica. Dot worked for many years at Utica Duxbak. When she left there, she decided it was time to find herself. So she worked at a few small jobs, one of which was the chocolate factory. She later worked at Tri-State where she retired in 2000. She could do almost anything she put her mind to, seamstress, TV repair and Arts and Crafts to name a few. Surviving are her husband, Jerry March, children; Brenda March-Shedd, Bernie (Danielle) March and Lawrence (Carolyn) March, her daughter-in-love, Adel Woodard, grandchildren; Karl Shedd, Berndele March, Aaron (Sovanneary) Sheegog and J.Jaun March, a brother, Lester Lawrence, of Tampa, FL, niece "Candy" Mills and a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Nancy Mills, brother, Fred Lawrence, sons, Bruce and Douglas March. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 pm funeral service at Beliver's Miracle Deliverance Ministries Church 207 Eagle Street. Utica.
