On Friday, November 18, 2011, Eleanor "Tiny"(Wright) Barr entered into heavenly rest. Born January 1, 1932, she is the daughter of Alma (Gaines) Love and Johnny Wright. She is survived by her life partner and best friend, Raymond J. Barr (Ret.USAF), sons; Richard T. and Rodney J. Barr; daughters, Gwendolyn D. Starling and Ramona Barr-Tennell,. brother, Mr. William "Sunny" Brown, a sister and brother-in-law, Areba and Lonnie James, of Vero Beach, FL, her in-laws, the Wood family, of SC, a cousin, Eddie C. Thornton, of The Bronx and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons; Robert L.(Cathy) Barr and Michael D. Barr (Ret.USN), her mother, father and an infant daughter, Jacqueline Barr. The family thanks St. Joseph Nursing Home, Dr. Arul Kannon, St.Elizabeth Medical Center and Ms. Sheila Billins for all of their love and care.
