Obituary of Jr. Shealey

Odum (Odie) J. Shealey Jr., 21 of Utica, entered into rest on Sunday, November 10, 2013, in Utica. Odie was born July 29, 1992 in Syracuse, NY. The son of Odum (Jeff) Shealey and Rose (Rita) Adams-Shealey. He was raised and educated in Utica. At a young age he was introduced to hunting and fishing which he shared a love for along side his dad. Odie also had a talent for art. He would often sit and draw while holding a conversation. He was very fond of music, singing and fashion. Most of all he had a deep passion for his children. Family was truly special to him. Odie is survived by his parents, his son, Zy'eire, daughters, Kai'leese and Jizzelle and his unborn blessing, Little Odie. He is also survived by three sisters; ReTonya, Quanetta and Janetta; brothers, Tremayne and Trewayne (Mary), Maternal grandmother, Joyce Adams, Paternal grandmother, Daisy Shealey, Paternal grandfather, Odum Weathers, and his girlfriend, Tyangeanae. He leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his great grandmothers, Dorothy Jones and Mildred Holly. Friends may call on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at T.Revels-Gibson Funeral Chapel.
