Adell Young Davis, 88, of Utica passed away peacefully May 4, 2012. She was born August 3, 1923, in Clayton, AL, the daughter of the late Dorcas Richardson and Isaac Young. She was employed by the New York Telephone Company for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Hope Chapel AME Zion Church for over sixty years. Adell is survived by her son, Odell (Maria Sheilah (Ancheta) Young, and children, of New Jersey, grand-daughters, Ericka Young, April Davis-Cruise and Pam Young, favorite grand-son, Michael Young and other relatives in MA and AL. She was predeceased by a son, David (Popalo) Davis and a daughter, Jean Ferguson West. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 11:00 am until the 12:00 noon funeral service at T.Revels-Gibson Funeral Chapel, 144 Eagle St. Utica.
