Obituary of Patricia Outten

Patricia Outten, 64 of Utica, NY celebrated the beginning of her new journey on August 24, 2022. Patricia was born on October 26, 1957 in Plainfield, New Jersey to Mr. Willie Jones and Willia Mae Outten. Patricia was educated and lived most of her early adulthood in New Jersey and then made the decision to move to Utica in 1988. This is where she became involved in the Johnson Park Community, helping to give back not only with her spirit but also with her hands. She became quite literally, a “homebuilder”. When she wasn’t building homes, she was building loads of joy and love with her family and friends. Always one with the comical personality and attitude, you would find her with her manning the grill at BBQ’s and putting smiles on people’s faces. Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Tosha Nicole; grandsons: Sincere Outten, Devon Outten and Daresse Outten and great grandchildren; two sisters: Teresa Jones and Christina Woodard as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Patricia is predeceased by her parents Willie and Willa Mae (Outten) Jones and grandson Tyrell Outten. The family was truly blessed with Patricia’s love and joy and those feelings and memories with continue from this point forward. Her presence will always be missed but never forgotten. The family would like to acknowledge and express their sincere gratitude for all the prayers, thoughts, concerns extended during this time of grief.
