Obituary of Michael A. Williams

Michael A. Williams, 48 of Utica, NY entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2020. Michael was born on December 20, 1971 to the Melvin Williams and Jeannie B. Guilford. Upon his graduation from Notre Dame High School he began his career as a NYS Correctional Officer. During his free time, Michael enjoyed long drives with music and love for motorcycles, cars, being outdoors and spending time with family. Family and friends meant the world to him, he was known by many and loved for his quick wit and humor, he could make anyone laugh. Michael leaves to cherish his memories his father Melvin Williams; three children: Marissa Williams, Deidra Williams and Darian Williams; four siblings: Lorenzo Ballard, Moses Ballard, Clifford Williams and Melissa Williams; a close cousin Richard Williams; long term partner, Carey Dunn as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Jeannie B. Guilford. The family would like to extend their appreciation to all those who have extended their sympathy during this time of grief as well as the last year. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed.
