Cecil David Franklin, 74, of Utica, passed away January 22, 2012, in Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare Center,surrounded by family. Cecil was born November 26, 1937, to the late Mattie Franklin-Myrick and Clarence "Towb" Franklin. He was formerly employed by Rock's Tire and Battery and Mosher Farms for many years. Cecil was a very kind hearted person who will be dearly missed He leaves to mourn, his children; Charmaine (Edwin) Rosado, of Utica, Camille and Curtis Franklin, of FL. brothers; Ralph Franklin and Caldwell "Curly" Myrick, of Chicago, IL, Charlie "Randy" Myrick, of Thompson, GA and Willie "Joint" Myrick, of Warrenton, GA, sisters; Lonnie Mae Hampton, Evelyn Myrick and Santa Maria "Faye" Myrick, of Thornton, GA, seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Also special friends; Audrey Love,John Roberts, Deborah Garro and Fabian Rivera. Cecil was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Franklin and sister Lovie Jean Moore The family thanks the staff of ICU, 5th. and 6th. floor of Faxton-St. Lukes Healthcare for their compassion and care given to Cecil. Friends may call on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 Pm funeral service at T.Revels-Gibson Funeral Chapel
