Obituary of Tyrone Liggins

Tyrone "Gus" Liggins, 45 of Utica, NY entered into rest on Wednesday, May 24, 2017.  Tyrone, was born on December 8, 1972 to the late Arthur and Mary Liggins.  

Tyrone was a man of many "trades", there was not a challenge that he could not meet.  A man who enjoyed many laughs and fun times with family and friends, he would keep you laughing and his heart was true and kind.  He loved to sing and rap when the "spirit" spoke to him.  

Tyrone leaves to cherish his heart and soul his sons: Tykeem Liggins, Tyrone, Jr. Liggins and Hakiem Jackson (all of Florida); daughters:  Juree Liggins, Alexa Liggins (Utica, NY); Laire Liggins (NC); Vicky and Mary Liggins (Utica, NY); brother, John (Ronate Fulton) Wright; special nieces:  Shatasha Brown and Tanya McFarland; special nephew: Johnathan Wright; special cousins: Jeffrey Jones and Damin Liggins and grandchildren: Kingson Liggins, Braden Jackson and Ryan Jackson; as well as host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tyrone was predeceased by his parents: Arthur and Mary Liggins; sisters:  Vicky Liggins and Charlotte "Pumpkin" Ford and a special nephew Johnathan Wright B. Love.

Tyrone's leaves his favorite scripture, Psalm 23 to give strength and comfort to those who are missing him. 

Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501 and services will immediately follow at 5:00 pm.  Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 am.
