Obituary of William Earl Cash

William Earl Cash, 63 of Utica, NY entered into rest November 6, 2016. William, the son of the late Dave Sr., and Florence (Williams) Cash was born on July 7, 1953. Mr. Cash was employed by Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center as an MHTA and then transitioned to a Developmental Aid at DDSO (Ilion, NY). He was an avid fisherman, it did not matter the weather or season. He taught all his children the joy of fishing… A very loving and dedicated father, grandfather and uncle. His eldest son, Jason Cash resides in California. William married Valerie Frick on December 17, 1989 in Utica, NY and this union was Earl “EJ” Jordan and stepdaughter Alicia Baird (Westmoreland, NY); stepson Justin Randall (Albany, NY); grandchild Zachary Baird; brother Dave Cash Sr. ; nieces and nephews Adrian Harris (Maryland); Vera Rivers (Georgia); Carmen Cash; Alexandria Cash; David Cash. Mr. Cash was predeceased in death by his parents and his brother Herbert Rivers. The Cash family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Valley Health Services located in Herkimer, NY and a special acknowledgment to Dr. Wade Hunt for the tremendous care and friendship extended for all the years our father spent with your amazing team. William "Earl" Cash will be memorialized on Thursday, November 10, 2016, 12:00pm at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501. Interment will immediately follow services at New Forest Cemetery.
