Robert Lee Reed, Sr., 58 of Utica, NY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
Robert, the son of James Reed and Mary McKenze, was born in Dotham, Alabama on October 14, 1957. Mr. Reed came to the Utica area as a child along with his family where he was raised and educated.
At one time he held a position at the Behlog Produce as a truck driver.
Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his children: Robert L. Reed, Jr. (Utica, NY); Willie C. Reed (Herkimer, NY); Clayton P. Reed (Herkimer, NY); Raenna Reed (Utica, NY); Michael L. Reed (Utica, NY) and J.T. Reed (Utica, NY). Also surviving are several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Reed was predeceased by his parents: James Reed and Mary McKenze, son: Ali James Reed; sister: Annie Delois Reed and brother: Kinnyon “Peanut” Reed.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home with Reverend George Clark officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
