John Lee King, 63 passed away peacefully with his family by his side at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center on October 8, 2015. John was born on May 2, 1952 to the late John Henry and Alma Lee (Reed) King in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
John attended and was one of the senior students of Oneida County ARC and a resident of Charles Sitrin / Gan Kavod, Maple House in New Hartford, NY. John, a loving and caring person, was a fan of basketball, music and a lover of chocolate.
John leaves behind to cherish his memory his siters: Annette (Syracuse), Alma, Ivory (Utica) and Oliva (Elmer) of Detroit, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was predeceased in death by his parents and siblings: Vivian, Ollie, Mary Jan and Charles.
The King family would like to thank everyone who has supported and cared for John with a special and sincere appreciation to the St. Elizabeth's ICU and the Gan Kavod staff members.
Family and friends may call on Monday, October 11, 2015 from 3 - 5pm with service immediately following at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Service, Inc., 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY 13501.
