Obituary of Raymond Carter

Raymond H.R. Carter, 60, of Utica, died January 15, 2012 in St. Joseph Nursing Home. His family was at his side at the time of transition to a better life. He was born in Utica, NY, February 18, 1951, to the late Charles and Flossie Adams Carter. He was educated locally, and worked briefly at A.R.C. With the death of his mother at a young age, his care and comfort was taken over by his maternal grandmother, Mrs, Lucille Horn. Raymond never met a person that he didn't like. He had a smile for everyone. He really love his family , the NY Yankees, NY Giants and NY Knicks. He leaves to mourn and really miss him, his brothers; Barney, with whom he lived and was his primary caregiver, Rodney, his twin brother and Steve, sisters; Annette Mc Clary and Thelma Carter, many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt; Ruby Mann, of Easton, PA. He was predeceased by brothers: James, Willie and Charles Jr. and twin sisters; Rose and Ruby Carter. Thanks to Dr. Dilip D. Kachare and his staff, St. Elizabeth Medical Center 2nd and 3rd floors, Heritage HCC 7th floor, Sister Patricia and staff 3rd floor at St. Joseph Nursing Home, also Julie Milagrano and staff from Hospice. You all were very kind and comforting. Friends may call on Thursday, January 19, 2012, from 11:00 am until the 12:00 noon funeral service at T.Revels-Gibson Funeral Chapel.
