Obituary of Bobby Marcell Coward

Bobby (Abdel Aziz) Marcell Coward passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2015, one day after his 48th birthday. Bobby was born September 11, 1967 in Harlem, NY. He was predeceased in death by his father and mother, Otha (OB) Coward and Dels Coward, his older sister and brothers, Patricia, Michael and Dennis (Boobie). Bobby attended NYC Public Schools. He was a hard worker and had a passion for basketball. Bobby leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memores to be cherished by his family and friends. Those left to share these memories include his brother Johnny and three sisters, Flora, Shirley and Vivian (Vil); as well as host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Bobby was blessed and recently found love. He married the love of his life, Lisa Ruth-Eleanor Davis, a native of Northshore Long Island, NY and a graduate from Wells College, Class of 2004. Bobby and Lisa met in NYC and reunited in May 2014 resulting in the union of marriage on January 16, 2015 with service by Ray Lockwood, former County Legislator. Bobby and his lovely wife, Lisa found their faith around the same time and relocated to Auburn, NY to establish themselves as a family with their stepson Dillon Cody Davis-Tirado. Bobby is resting now and will be deeply missed. Services for Bobby will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle St., Utica, NY 13501. Famiy and friends may call at 10:00 am and the funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Repass will be immediately following the service at a location TBA.
