Peggy was born on February 18, 1958 in Jacksonville, IL to Edward Lee Young and Wanda Louise Elliott. She relocated to Utica, NY at the age of 14 to be with her mother, continuing her education at UFA . Peggy is survived by her son, Clifton L. Tracey, Jr., her daughter, Chantelle L.L. Young, stepdaughters: Dianne (Peaches) Titus, Priscilla (Tracey) Bitting, and Deborah (Tracey) Pearson, her grandchildren: Elijah, Clifton III, Jayden, Arriana, and Devonte, numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She had special relationships with the mothers of her grandchildren: Magalie Casmir, Ayanna Davis, and Runette (Nisi) Livingston and a sister Jacqúe Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents, step daughter: Cassandra (Corky) Tracey-Brewer and grandchildren: Precious, Yanice, and Yani. Peggy cherished her children and grandchildren. She always was eager to help and support them in anyway that she could. She was a very loving and caring individual, her door was always open, not only to her home but to her heart. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 15 from 6 - 7 pm at T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle St., Utica. Funeral services will commence at the conclusion of visitation.
