Franklin H. Davis, Sr., 81, of Utica, NY, passed away on April 2, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Franklin was born on October 30, 1933 in Quitman, Georgia to the late George and Mary Davis Adams and the stepson of the late Bernie Adams, Sr.. He is also predeceased by his wife, Marion Davis and son Kevin Davis.
Franklin faithfully served his country as a US Army soldier and in the Korean War. He retired from Momentum Tech, Inc.
Franklin is survived by his children, Carrie (Michael) Wright, Franklin Davis, Jr. (Albany, NY), Jacqueline (Curley) Womack, Kenneth (Karen) Davis of Syracuse, NY, Michael Davis, Karen (David) Drake, Ervin and Mardina Carr, four brothers: George (Bill) Davis, Bernie (Melvina) Adams, Willis (Pearlene) Adams and John Adams, Sr.
Arrangements entrusted to T. Revels-Gibson Funeral Services, Inc., 144 Eagle St., Utica, NY. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 10 - 11am with the funeral service immediately following.
