Kareem Curtis Christopher, Jr. age 36 of Utica, NY passed away on December 26, 2014. Born on November 14, 1978 in Brooklyn, NY, Kareem is the son of the late Curtis Calvin Christopher and Margo Scott (referred to by Kareem as his "Queen). Kareem (June) attended P.S. 158 and Automotive High School in Brooklyn, NY. Kareem is survived by his mother Margo Scott; fiancée LaShanda Stewart; daughter Karmaishia Christopher; granddaughter De'Nayshia Christopher; siblings Shawanta Christopher; Lakesha Christopher (Shatee Baker); LaQuane Scott (Tangy Scott); grandmother Ruby McCoy Scott McLaurin; nephews Ra'kim Christopher; Tyriek Christopher; Godmother and a Goddaughter; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Kareem was predeceased by grandparents Roy and Bernice Christopher and grandfather Samuel Nisa Scott. Kareem was well loved and respected and very much a wonderful person. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 11am-12noon with service to follow immediately thereafter at T. Revels- Gibson Funeral Home, 144 Eagle Street, Utica, NY. Interment will take place at New Forest Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
